Howard laughs at Cedric's weird little cat gesture, but it's strained. He's still not sure Cedric's okay.
"That's okay. I'll finish it." He gives a glance back to the bowl of potion. Because that is clearly what Cedric's worried about, the waste of egg and sweet potato. At least, that's what Howard's partially worried about, but he'll make sure those calories get used. He moves his hand in small circles over Cedric's shoulder. "And I'll clean up if you puke."
He keeps using his other hand to wipe the sweat away. If Cedric didn't look so exhausted it might even be sexy, but Howard's firmly in comfort mode, and that doesn't give much room for such thoughts. The other cats hop down from the counter and investigate, curious as to what their people are doing.
