Hurt/Comfort Meme

Your character has emotional pains---worry, anger, sorrow, whatever fits the mood you like. Basically, they're hurt. How they got that way is up to you! Other character tries to help out! It's that simple. Just pop the name and fandom in the subject line, draft up a relationship on the way if you need to, and get to it.

"You are cold?"

Too bad, Kitty, you have a pest bothering you! She's floating beside you, staring with her bright green eyes.

Oh gods what? I mean what?! What?! Who the hell is this?!

Charlise jumped to the side and practically slammed against the wall in surprise as she looked over to whoever had startled her. Once her initial embarrassment was over, she narrowed her eyes in annoyance and glared.

"What the fuck is your problem?! Do you just randomly walk up to people and start talking?!" Kitty yelled as if it was a totally weird and unnatural thing to do!

Starfire flew straight back against the wall. She didn't mean to startle! She glanced back over, sad and guilty.

"I only hoped to meet you," she whispered. "You are too sad for company, yes?"

"Too sad for what?" Kitty snapped back and then turned away intent on hiding her face. "I'm not sad, what the hell gave you that idea?"

And like he she would admit that to someone random who just showed up out of nowhere, girl or not.

"You appeared lonely, and your face was not smiling," Starfire said rather bluntly, as innocent as ever. "This is sadness, yes?"

"Boy, aren't you just observant! Gimme a second while I go get you a reward!" Kitty said in an exaggerated manner.

Where did this girl even come from? And what was with all that cheerfulness and junk?

"Do you have somewhere to go?" Just a question. She's not quite sure what to say at this point.

Charlise blinks a few times and raises an eyebrow at the girl.

"Not really, but you're free to continue stalking me."

"I do not wish to bring harm to you," she promised quickly. "Not at all. But I hope you find happiness soon."

She turned to leave---or so Kitty might've thought. In parting, she plucked up a flower and offered it. As if that would do any good.

Charlise blinked a few times and looked between the flower, and the girl and then back again... What the hell was this? And why... oh gods, her face was burning! Oh wait, that's just her blushing... She turns to play it off.

"Sorry, don't eat plants." Not very clever Kitty... "But thanks... I guess..."

"We eat plants?"

This was news to Starfire. She promptly picked another flower, popping it straight in her mouth.

"The taste is...different. Refreshing, like the taste of spring," she decided with a smile. "You should try it someday! But perhaps you have another meal waiting at home."

Kitty simply blinked and shook her head. This girl.... This girl was something. Not necessarily something bad either. But why?

"Well, I know some people do yeah. But either way, I don't got nothin' and don't want nothin'. I just eat whenever it hits and I remember I have to I guess."

Good job on getting her to talk more.

"Are you hungry now? I can locate food!" Sometimes that helped people when they were feeling sad, she thought.

"You're not gonna drop it are you?" The girl seemed like the type to keep on nagging her until she said yes...

And that was something Kitty really liked, secretly of course, she didn't need any of these shitty, fucking feelings.

"Fine, sure, whatever I guess... I'm kinda hungry..." she said offhandedly as she crossed her arms.

"I am not holding anything," Starfire said back, confused. The remnants of the flower had long gone, what could she mean?

Oh well. It was time for food, no time to dwell on that! "Then we will have pizza! We will eat all of your favorite toppings," she invited with a grin.

This girl... Even at the obvious, silly confusion, Charlise couldn't hold back a laugh, maybe out of how oblivious the girl was, or maybe just out of how oddly adorable it was? No one would know regardless, cause Kitty won't tell.

Instead she just made shooing motions and sighed, "Sure, sure, whatever. I'll just have every topping." Which was common for the greedy gal.

"Even mustard and mint frosting?" she asked hopefully. Her friends had not liked those options.

"But we will begin with the meats and cheeses. The cheese will stretch until it is hanging from our mouths!" That was her favorite part. It was so much fun.

"Eh, sure, why not. Try everything once I say." Which was usually her motto, except when it came to these 'emotion' thing. That can take it's butt all the way out the door.

"Sounds like a plan chick. Let's get this grub in our stomachs."
